Installing a Borla Performance Exhaust System on your vehicle will eliminate the restrictive design of the stock exhaust, allowing your engine to discharge exhaust gas easier.

The result is more horsepower and torque, longer engine life, and a distinctive throaty growl- all this, with easy bolt-on installation. These installation instructions have been written to help you in the installation of your Borla Performance Exhaust System.

Please read it completely before installing your system. Lokasi Terpopuler. Car for sale in DKI Jakarta. Car for sale in Jawa Timur.

Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the random PD and warning lamp events, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to update the control module software. Cause: A memory error within the driver's seat control module causes the loss of the last known position of the mirror glass.

This is a software error that cannot be rectified using WDS. Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to replace the control module with a new module containing the software revision required. For drivers of vehicles without driver's memory seats, confusion may arise as the Settings display appears to offer "Reverse Mirror Dip" as an available option. The yellow identification label will be replaced by case stamped identification.

Connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a WDS session 4. Repeat step 4 to confirm the software level change.

Remove the cooling fan assembly. Install the ECM cooling fan assembly. Secure the electrical connector to the ECM housing. NOTE: A new parking aid system control module has been developed to provide an enhanced front parking aid operation strategy for the customer. The original park aid system strategy activates the front parking sensors when a forward gear is selected following reverse. Sensor operation is deactivated when the vehicle speed exceeds 10 mph 16 kph. Sensor operation will reactivate when the vehicle speed drops below 10mph 16 kph.

This sensor activation below 10mph can result in audible warnings as the vehicle is coming to a stop and another vehicle or pedestrian passes in front of the vehicle. A customer may report this audible warning as unnecessary or "false". This sensor activation is not a fault with the parking aid system. The front parking aid switch is located on the center instrument panel.

Action: If a customer expresses this false warning concern, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to replace the parking aid control module with the latest configuration. Ensure that the customer is instructed on the use of the enhanced front parking aid system.

If installed, connect the pollution sensor electrical connector. If installed, connect the speed control module electrical connector. Connect the horn electrical connectors. Connect the hood switch electrical connector. RH side: Secure the wiring harness.

Connect both front impact electrical connectors. RH side: Attach the air suspension pipe. Connect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector. RH side: Attach the engine compartment ground cables. RH side: Attach the body panel ground cables. RH side: Connect the body panel electrical connectors. Vehicles with auxiliary heating 1.

RH side: Secure the heater pipes to the body panel. Driver side: Attach the wiring harness to the bulkhead. Driver side: Connect the lower A-pillar electrical connectors. Connect the ABS module electrical connector. Connect the brake fluid reservoir electrical connector.

Attach the wiring harness to the plenum. Connect the battery to engine compartment wiring harness electrical connector.

Connect the brake booster vacuum pump electrical connector. Attach the hood wiring harness. Install the hood pad.

Install the windshield wiper motor. LH side: Attach the wiring harness. LH side: Connect the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector. LH side: Connect the coolant expansion tank level switch electrical connector. LH side: Attach the washer reservoir wiring harness. LH side: Attach the engine compartment ground cables. Figure 1 4.

Undo and remove the two driver seat module Torx screws. Figure 1 5. Disconnect the five electrical connectors from the module. Remove the seat module. Install the seat front base cover, ensuring all four retaining clips are secure.

Turn ignition 'ON'. NOTE: When a replacement memory control module is installed to a seat it must be initialized so that the control module can learn the seat's maximum and minimum adjustment values. Adjust all the seat movement axes slide, recline, height and tilt from one end of travel to the other. Turn ignition 'OFF. Cause: The control module software may not be providing adequate air distribution under all conditions. Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to update the control module software.

Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery. Remove the floor console. Remove the restraints control module RCM. Install the RCM. Install the floor console. Initiate a new RCM using T4. To access the fuses, open the glovebox to the service position.

This is done by opening the glovebox normally and then squeezing the top of the support stays, located either side of the glovebox compartment as shown in the inset. This allows the glovebox to be lowered into the footwell. A label on the rear of the glovebox shows the circuits protected, the fuse values and their locations.

They are also listed on the following page. Note the current software levels of the engine control module as shown. NOTE: Patch file download could take up to twenty minutes dependent on connection speed. Each patch file must be downloaded separately and in sequence: Patch 1 then 2 then 3 then 4. Patch files may not be loaded any other way than one patch at a time. Connect the power supply and diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a WDS session.

NOTE: During module configuration, the on-screen software part number information that WDS will display can be checked and compared to the software part number noted in step 6 above.

The Information symbol 'i' may be displayed on the message center following an instrument cluster software update using the Worldwide Diagnostic System WDS. Cause: The instrument cluster software level and the air suspension control module software level are incompatible. This causes the Information symbol 'i' to display on the message center. The 'i' symbol can not be cleared using the turn-signal stalk 'i' button.

Action: Should the Information symbol 'i' be displayed on the message center following an instrument cluster software update, refer to the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to update the ride level control module software. Software update notification only. Connect diagnostic equipment and begin a WDS session. Update ride level control module software to the latest level. Exit WDS session and disconnect diagnostic equipment from vehicle.

Release the wiring harness from the plenum. Disconnect the brake fluid reservoir electrical connector. Disconnect the ABS module electrical connector. Driver side: Disconnect 2 electrical connectors from the lower A-pillar.

Back the brake adjusters off. A faulting sensor may be the cause of these errors but will typically log other DTCs in addition. It is necessary to investigate the cause of any other DTCs and fix the issues causing them before going any further. Resolving a problem causing other DTCs may also resolve the 'internal control module error'.

Resolve DTCs that are not flagged as an 'internal control module error'. NOTE: Internal control module errors can be caused by poor or intermittent contact to power or ground. The integrity of the control module power and ground connections should therefore be checked.

Check for continuity and short circuits. Where possible, flex wires while checking to search for intermittent faults. Check the integrity of the control module power and ground connections.

Check for continuity and short circuits while flexing wires, where possible, to search for intermittent faults. Remove the delivery valve-retaining plug. Remove and discard the return spring and delivery valve. Install a new 0-ring seal to the delivery valve-retaining plug. Install the new spring and delivery valve into the compressor. Remove plugs in the inlet and outlet connections. Turn ignition ON engine not running. Verify air suspension system compressor is not running.

From the Session Type selection screen, choose 'Diagnosis'. This is due to the possibility of damage to the relay contacts. Action: In the event of an air suspension system compressor requires replacement, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to replace the compressor and relay.
